Ola Kalnins - A VIBRANT EXHIBITION AT FORUMTORGET
Forumtorget in Uppsala comes to life when Ola Kalnins brings his art into the public space. His work is an interplay between abstract expression and graphic precision—an electric balance between chaos and order, between freedom and structure.
The skull is a central symbol in Kalnins’s art — not as a representation of death, but of life. We all carry a skull, a shared form filled with unique thoughts and emotions. Through his skull motifs, Kalnins captures the abstract and the spiritual.
Ola Kalnins is an established Swedish artist with an international presence. With roots in the urban art scene, he has created works on streets and facades across the world—from Europe to the USA and Asia. His unique style, combining bold graphic elements with abstract expressionism, has made him sought after both nationally and internationally.
Placing his work at the heart of the city’s everyday life is a natural continuation of Wildstyle’s vision — to bring urban art closer to the public so it can be experienced and spark new, unexpected encounters.
We warmly welcome you to the opening of this public exhibition on March 1 at Forumtorget in Uppsala. You are also invited to visit the gallery, where Ola Kalnins’s work will be on display from March 1 to March 14.
