HENRIK STENBERG (SE)

Henrik Stenberg creates detailed fictional landscapes. A wild and magnificent nature that is also a product of the imagination, sculpted from chaotic forms into a clear and distinct place.

For Henrik, it is a journey of discovery to make the landscapes but also to wander around them, around the rocky terrain, forests and meltwater streams up against white snow and clear skies. The vertical format also invites a journey upwards. In some paintings there are also traces of human activity in the form of enigmatic buildings and masts.

Henrik Stenberg lives in Laholm and has painting as his main form of expression but he has also worked with drawing, sculpture and performance.
