EMIL ÖHLUND [ÖRB]

On the 24 of February Wildstyle is proud to present a new exhibition with Swedish artist Emil Öhlund. The show offers a rare opportunity to experience this unique artist at first hand. Despite living and working in Sweden, his exhibitions have mainly taken place in China, Taiwan and Japan.

Emil Öhlund's artistry moves in a mysterious dream world where childhood dreams and elements from cartoons and video games intertwine. His pictures offers an escape from the troubled times we live in.

The strong and radiant colors in his works are there to provoke a reaction. And also to lure the viewer back to the magic days of childhood. In Emils own words, ”I want to awaken feelings for the beholder, and throw them into that secure and simpler world, one that it is utterly important for me."

Opening on the 24th of February. Emil Öhlund will exhibit at gallery Wildstyle.
